Lias bye bye haowii

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Jesus I'm sorry to hear this. I enjoyed reading your posts too.

I don't know your current state, but I sure hope you wait until when the pain is intolerable. And I hope that's not for a long time.

That's a shame. I don't believe we have ever met in real life but you always had good information and ideas. Coincidentally I was in a friend's house this evening, and he was looking at his laptop and mentioned this. Anyway he does I think know you in real life and wanted to contact/ help you regarding your situation, but doesn't have an account (he just browses these forums like most people and doesn't post). If you're interested I'll PM you later. All the best dude.

This forum has meant a lot to me. Living isolated as I do I have been connected to many other old time expats who have shared their feelings and experience. This fact has strengthened me to jeep on keeping on, but death is waiting at the final stretch.

Before bidding adieu I would like to mention the two mods who have meant the most to me. First is FLB who combines erudition, humor and uncommon sense in terse prose. Then there is Jamie.who knows how to get to the bottom of Khmer linguistic issues (among other things).

Sorry I can't mention other occasional sources of inspiration, generally if you talked straight from an informed point if view, you contributed to my.growth. In closing if I thought you were an uninformed touron twit, I made my feelings abundantly clear.
Sorry to hear this news mate,
i know weve tried to hook up a number of times but never come about,
i do plan to make a trip to Kampong Cham, maybe over the next week or 2,
let me know if you need anything bro

I've always been impressed with your words. While I'm incredibly sad to hear your news, I'm impressed with your approach.

Please stick around until the seas get too rough, if you're able. You're an intelligent balance to this forum.

And yes, the pearly gates will indeed be open for the good guys.

All the best to you, good man.

Your straight talking and somewhat acerbic wit will be sorely missed. Much respect. :hattip:
