Layout of the CEO forum.

I have been part of the south African aviation forum avcom and layout in this forum is same as that.for eg: .both have general chatter and other buy and sell sections etc and too in exactly same interface and placement ..

I really like this format for the forums as compared to any other format followed for any other forums ..such a format is really easy to use, all the sections are categorised perfectly and is a absolute joy to read and reply on the posts....has any one of these two forum companies taken inspiration from the other or is it a general forum format..?..what other forums do you guys know which follow the same format..

Isn't this type of forum what used to be known as a bulletin board (or still is) ?

One of the oldest types of message based boards, but still the best in my opinion. No 140 character limit (or whatever it is), not bombarded with adverts every few seconds, not designed to just mindlessly scroll through, designed to be 'read' rather than 'watched' etc...

Bit like the toilet. It was so well designed initially that it's barely needed any changes since its conception.
