Land Boom

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

You want stay in Kampot? If so, What is the minimum size of land you need, and do you need a house on that land?

And I have a wooden shack for rent, 12,50$ per month, close by I have a small piece of land for your bees (although you could set up some next to your house I guess), surroundings mainly forest, pepper and fruit, so your bees will love it. You have to relocate to the Northeast though. It's about 5 km from the main provincial center.

But the question is, how much land do you need.....

thanks guys, i will mull it over for 24, but i have drained the treasury to $400 plus my ticket out- banking on the next 8 weeks to grow bees to further monetize. this is perhaps ( yet another ) painful lesson in how difficult it is to live here off one's own resources.
I am about done.

I don't know, but if I were a beekeeper in Cambodia I would take them with me all the time....

Best of luck at the meeting. I wish nothing but the best to you and good health to your gf. Wishing to remain true to my vow never to post here again this is the only exception that current circumstances demand.

At one time I thought I would like to retire in Kampot. However, when I was there last summer I could not find any decent places to rent at a reasonable price.

I got a one year visa for Vietnam. At the end of the month I'm going to Phu Quoc (I was there last summer too). I have four weeks booked at a resort there and will look for a suitable retirement rental... if I can't find anything, I'm moving on to Vung Tau. It looks nice... and there are lots of places to rent.
You could be next.

Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.
