Kep too busy?
I remember a few years ago Kep was only busy on Saturdays. Now it seems to be every day the beach and roads are packed with locals from PP. Maybe paradise lost?

I don't know what days you are referring to. But it might have been because it was Pchhum Beun. Because of the bad reputation Sihanouk's has now locals are taking their business elsewhere along the coast.
As my old Cajun bait seller used to say, "I opes you luck.

Re: Kep too busy?
Ya it's been festival but still today very busy and even before it started. Looks like Thursday to Monday is the new weekend. They have a bunch of jet skis and blowup games on the beach now and it is getting worse. I am getting tired of looking at drunks and piles of garbage. You have to avoid the busy days but then what is there to do?
I was thinking of rent a bungalow monthly and staying for a few months but now having second thoughts..

There's nothing to do in Kep any day of the week. We're you planning on hanging out on kep beach 6 days a week?dave the wave wrote:Ya it's been festival but still today very busy and even before it started. After.the demise of sihanoukville, Kep is the only other beachside resort town left for Cambodians to visit.
Go rent a house in stung treng if you want to avoid the crowds.
