Kampot Litter Disgrace After Exhibition

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Does it not make you chuckle, that a number of the Glastonbury festival attendees purport to be "eco-warriors", yet are happy to leave their mess behind? My niece is a perfect example (4 festivals so far), at 20 years old, preaching that we (us older people) are poisoning the earth and destroying the habitat. But she uses more single use plastic than I do. I pointed this out, but apparently, "that's different"!!! Go F*****G figure!!
And pop festivals have had big problems with people leaving nylon tents cos they are so cheap noome could be arsed to take them home. Few more sqmetres than your average supermarket bag. When the climate gets hot, the hypocrites keep coming

I was at a wedding in Kampong Cham a few weeks ago and the local kids were going from table to table collecting cans...It was great slamming beers and handing the can to a kid working on Saturday night.
I have seen some house warmings.. weddings ..etc. where the grounds were strewn with the entire party.
no trash cans provided...
the cans went first...next morning before noon..
the plastic a few days later...
a good rain washing the rest into the street and down to the Sea...
good ol days in Sihanoukville 2017...
