Indeed it SEEMS that one of the mods/admins on the Kampot Noticeboard FB page is selling his cinema/restaurant business!

Is this the notorious Belinda Laidlaw? I'm surprised if it is, I'm not sure what type of image she is trying to project but I have to say I like it....

That sale is so the owner can concentrate on other projects. He also owns the best noodle restaurant in town


There is the usual end of season glut of venues on the market, with a variety of reasons for sale, but with the majority being people who simply didn't look at the figures before committing. IMO, there were simply too many places which meant dependence on the weekend trippers from PP. Kampot more likely to be overrun by happy pizza joints (pun intended) than the Chinese ;)
