Japanese Businessman JUN TAKEGUCHI Badly Beats Girlfriend in Cambodia Then Flees Back to Japan

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. the law is a ass — a idiot. If that's the eye of the law, the law is a bachelor; and the worst I wish the law is, that his eye may be opened by experience — by experience

Yes, I'm certain he's aware about this being on CEO. You should see all the retweets it is getting in Japan.

He's not obligated to respond.

Again, we post all sorts of crazy stories here on CEO, and we make every attempt to make sure they're accurate and we would never knowingly post anything misleading or false, but I think it's pretty clear what happened.

I fully support people being skeptical when reading things online, even if it's mainstream news, but I don't get why there is such skepticism about Annie's claim, backed up by images and reports of previous abuse.

She has also sent CEO a police report, and we're just waiting to get it properly translated.

I think we have finally crossed the tipping point as a place to reach out to when you want a voice in Cambodia amongst expats and the i international English press, as it seems people are often getting in touch with CEO when they have a message they want to make loud and clear.

We have also received a scan of a legal document of Jun Takeguchi that seems to be a sort of "power of attorney" or something related to him firing an employee, but we haven't had time to dig into it yet, and it was sent to us from a third party that appears to have nothing to do with this current dispute.

Again, we get all sorts of crazy stories sent to us, and we don't run some of them if we don't deem them to have merit.

Hell, we didn't even run this story for a whole day after receiving it until we were able to get more info about it. And yes, you should be skeptical about EVERYTHING you read on the internet, without exception, but you and others seem to be putting a lot more weight on a version of the events based on literally nothing but anecdotal stories.

Again, I have no issues with people being skeptical of what they read online, but when people make it sound like we're picking on him because he's a man and claim that we wouldn't cover a story about a woman abusing a man, they have lost their minds, lol.

Wow! A whole day!
Then the journalistic integrity of CEO remains in tact.

There were bruises when she was done. She said it was because I was driving her crazy but I think she went and told her friends I beat her.

I'd need to hear the mans side of the story.
I bet that’s what happened. You actually scare me.

How do I get articles bashing my personal enemies published in the Phnom Penh Post?
