ISP Woes and Update on Smart 4g

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Picked up Smart 4G via roaming in Bangkok a week ago on my Asus Zenfone 5, but typically get 2G around PP.

2g via Smart in PP?
Yup, TTP and BT areas

Edit: I just realised that's because dual-sim phones only support one sim at a time on 3/4G IIRC, and Smart is my secondary sim. I'll mess with it tomorrow and see if I've got 4G on Smart in PP.

Metfone-dongle, Not no, but hell no!

5Ynet- They would rather go to lunch and take 7 day holidays than service their customers. (Couldn't pay my bill as no one was in the office who could take money. Internet down for 7 days due to poor service and King's birthday holiday.) I predict they won't be in business very much longer.

OnLine- Would also rather take 7 day holiday than get new paying customers.

I'm about to go back to Ezecom. Expensive but the bottom line is that you get what you pay for.

And what's that, 1.5 Mbps WiMAX for $120 pm? "Yay"

No. FTTH 3mb up/down, double at night and weekends. It's cheaper than the going rate per MB. No WiMAX for me!

Smart 4G service is off most of the times in SHV for the past few days.
Anyone got a clue what is going on ? I am fed up and almost ready to switch back to cellcard if it goes on much longer :x

It's the cafe package which is normally for coffee shops. I don't see it on their website but who really knows. 6mb from 6-6 is a good deal.
