Introduce Yourself

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. Hey Leo.

Wow, and I've always thought that jotting down 5 words to use for playing hangman was a good "lesson plan."

Will it need to speak French?

Interview it first:
At Andrew Jackson's funeral, his pet parrot had to be removed because it wouldn't stop swearing.

I am an English teacher at the French school.

Since the children are learning English the parrot is to speak English. I also want the English speaking owner of the parrot to take English questions from the children (5 - 6 year olds). Time required by the owner and parrot is 30 minutes...Leo

Hi All. My name is Steve from England ( Yorkshire ). On Friday December 18th 2015 Kellingley Colliery the last remaining deep coal mine in Britain closed with 450 miners losing their jobs just before Christmas. I was one of them. Now I am fuckin SCRAP, in a Country that does not give a flying fuck about people like me. I could personally SLAP David Cameron's face for 6 hours and not get bored. Anyway, I came to Cambodia in March 2014, mainly to see Giant Ibis, White Shouldered Ibis and Mekong Wagtail up in Kratie. I had a great 2 weeks Ornithological trip. ( Over 10,000 bird species in the world, and I have seen 7,427 ) I only spent 2 nights in Phnom Penh before going home. LOVED IT. I have since given serious thought about making Phnom Penh my home, so I am am coming soon for 1 month. This time I will look at rents, and make a concious decision about my future before returning to Blighty. Just wondered who I could meet to seek help ?.

Welcome aboard CEO!

Sounds like a good time to try your luck in Cambodia. Hopefully you have some cash saved up to cushion your landing here.

If you have any specific questions about moving, living or working here that you don't already see answered, we got an "ask the expats" forum specifically for that.

http://CambodiaExpatsOnline.com/ask-the ... s-answers/

Have fun on here!

Does anyone have baby rabbits or rabbits in Phnom Phen? I teach English at a French school to 5 -6 year olds near the American Embassy. I would like the owner of the rabbits to bring in the rabbits for English show and tell for 25 -30 minutes on a Wednesday at 03.00 p.m some day in next few weeks...Leo
