Introduce Yourself

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

I have been meaning to do this for a while (this is my fourth attempt lol, stupid laptop!)

We came over in October last year for dental treatment- I needed 7 crowns and some other work. We fell in love with the kingdom and when we got to Sihanoukville, decided we never wanted to leave. We went home, packed up and came back within two months.
I'm an ex journalist and run a business online writing CVs and cover letters for people. I started when I was working in a mining town, focusing on people wanting jobs in the mining industry. Three years on and I now have clients all over the world in every industry imaginable and live in Cambodia. Life is amazing!

That's kickass!

I actually got a professional to do my CV and I love it. Looks flawless, and I've had several other people ask to use the same CV format as mine, which I was kind enough to help out with.

Shocking how lame some people's CV's are. It is quite often the VERY first impression a company gets about you, and I think most people overlook how crucial it can be to have a nice one.

:good:

Oh, and a belated "welcome to CEO," LoL.

Did you just tell a professional CV writer that you've been giving away a professional's work for free ???

Moving on......thanks for the welcome, I love the group. Are we allowed to share websites?

LoL, she's one of my best friends, and I used to work for her too. Besides, it's "MY" CV, and I would assume it's dandy to do anything I wanted to do with "MY" own CV, no matter who prepared it.

CV writers are aware that people generally give their CV's to other people, right? :stir:

Depends, what website do you want to share with us? Midget porn is not as popular as it used to be.
