Introduce Yourself

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

My name is Thomas and I'm an American professional poker player. I've been living in Cambodia for about two years, but I have been pretty much a hermit. I have a Cambodian girlfriend named Annie and we run a hostess bar (I won't spam and say which), though she does most of the running and I spend most of my time at home playing online poker.

I've always been bad at networking so I'm making a conscious effort to get more involved in the expat scene and this seems as good a place as any to do so.
Welcome aboard, and glad you've decided to stop being a hermit! ! !

Spam? ! ? No! ! ! Listing hostess bars that fellow CEO members own is a public service announcement! ! Feel free to tell us! !

I quit my dayjob as an architecture intern in 2006 when poker was making 3x as much money as my salary. Finished up architecture school and haven't worked since.

The hostess bar is Cool n Cozy on 118 near the river. We've been open for about two years after we took over for a previous bar that was there. 118 has picked up quite a bit of steam since we opened, with like 4 new hostess bars opening on the same block as us in the last year. It's no 136 yet, but I think it's will be catching up to 104 before long.

Sorry, couldn't locate that photo of an Australian guy with a 20 inch dildo up his arse. Well, next time then.
