Introduce Yourself

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Hey there!

I'm new to this forum and thought a little introduction would be good to start with:

My name is Dan, I'm 26yo and from Germany. Spent the last 8 years in the German army (paratroopers; honorably dismissed after the 8-years contract expired) and am currently on my move to Cambodia (Sihanoukville).
Visited Snooky along the other bigger Cambodian cities a few times on holidays already so I roughly know what to expect there.

Hope to find some guys to have a beer with from time to time as well, but mainly registered because of all the useful information provided here. Thanks for that!

See you around!

Will pay the fees as soon as I sorted things out with this Nigerian prince who's money is going through my banking account. Need to send him a processing fee with Western Union anyways, so I'll send you your membership fee at one go. ;)

Great. Now we'll need a German speaker on the Mod Team.

Hello,

My name is Thomas and I'm an American professional poker player. I've been living in Cambodia for about two years, but I have been pretty much a hermit. I have a Cambodian girlfriend named Annie and we run a hostess bar (I won't spam and say which), though she does most of the running and I spend most of my time at home playing online poker.

I've always been bad at networking so I'm making a conscious effort to get more involved in the expat scene and this seems as good a place as any to do so.

Hi Renton, welcome to this board..... The only thing I know about poker is what I have learnt from some flippers in PP. Do you actually win money doing this online thing or do you go to the casino to win money?
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.
