Introduce Yourself

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Hello, Everyone! :hattip:

I'm an American retiree and moved to Siem Reap this past August. I've gotten settled in and am learning my way around town. I like it! There is a lot of interesting and helpful information in the forums here, wow!

Hi Lee. There are a few here who are as knowledgable about certain aspects of Cambodia as anyone, and there are also a few who believe they know a bit more than they do, about, well, everything. You'll work it out.

Welcome.

I'm an American PhD student that just moved to PP, Cambodia. I will be here at least two years. I don't need to work right away but like to keep my feelers out. I have a MA in Intelligence, an MBA in Management, and a MS in Information Technology. Working on a PhD of Technology right now... any suggestions from anyone?

Try CamboQuick, they advertise on this site and are very reliable. Spend all your USD on stuff from the USA; Amazon, Ebay etc.

Hello everyone,

I am a 29 year old British Expat, living in Cambodia 4 years, I work as a videographer and in creative business development in various sectors, mainly in real estate, where I use my videos to sell property and land. I have an amazing Khmer girlfriend with our first son being born next month. I love Cambodia and the Khmer people and I would love to connect with other like minded people, who are living permanently here and share my love for Cambodia. I am based in Kampot, but don't know much about the town nightlife, expat community events or things going on, any advice would be greatly appreciated. My dream is to have a farm or network of farms here in Cambodia, my passion is organic farming, permaculture and agroforestry.

Thank you.

Hello everyone, I am new here in the forum. At the moment I have been living in Thailand for 4 years and have a rented apartment, so I am flexible when it comes to moving. I have been interested in Cambodia for some time now.
I will browse the forum looking for posts about a visa for expatriates, a visa agency that deserves your seal of approval, a rental property agent you trust for Phnom Phen and an agency that will help me get a bank account and a cell phone number. Let's see how hard it is to find the right things here ;-). Maybe there is an agency that offers everything! I have all my posts translated into English as I don't speak English very well.
