My passion is playing darts and having a beer!

Are there many bars that have Dart boards?

I spend too much time far away from land; I don't know where I live. I'm sometimes found on the border between Cambodia and Thailand, and even back home in Blighty.

Never been interested in, involved in, or integrated in the "farang" world of Thailand - I have more bule mates in Indonesia. I find the Thai expat lot a bit weird and cranky.

Studied in China, Thailand, and Japan many years ago, and was lucky enough to spend a year abroad studying in Asia that made me want to find a way to escape there.

I'm a sort of specialist engineer and a bit of a language nerd since I was a kid; I kind of always knew I'd wind up where I am. Certainly always wanted to escape the UK.

My interest and involvement with Cambodia has been growing over the years - it was the place I enjoyed most when I visited as a student nearly 20 years ago.

Over the years I've been working laying foundations for a smart business that leads to a life on land in the Far East, SEAsia, and maybe with a base in Cambodia.

hi everyone, I am a 34-year-old Italian man, I spend some time studying Cambodian culture and the country, next year I will be able to retire from work and I intend to make a series of trips to South East Asia, to live and document the reality of this beautiful part of the world, I am a man in a wheelchair and I intend to open a blog and write a guide on how to deal with travel in certain countries for those with mobility difficulties.

My name is James and I will be moving to Phnom Penh, Cambodia in January. I currently work in the tech industry in San Jose, California, United States. I do data center and server room builds as well as network infrastructure, structured cabling, and fiber optics termination. After a 3 month vacation in south east asia this year I fell in love with the culture, food, people, and way of life. I decided to earn my TEFL and work in Cambodia as a English teacher and make a long term home for myself in Cambodia while contributing to the local society through teaching English and using my existing tech experience as side work if possible.

I don't have much support from my friends and family in this new direction in life they are very perplexed as to why I would leave the silicon valley and my trade to live in a third world country so I am hoping to meet a lot of like minded people when I arrive and settle in to work and living accommodations.

there is always room for fun and good times in life but looking for other focused professional mindsets to connect with. I have interviews set up in advance but would love to speak with fellow teachers to expand my understanding of local schools and areas, ect...
