Introduce Yourself

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Glad i found this forum should be a fantastic resource as I look to move over to Cambodia Q4 this year.

Been traveling SE asia for many years, mainly Thailand on extended trips but have made the decision to move out to Cambodia permanently.

I will be looking to find a reliable income working as mainly a nomadic Software Sales consultant but i am open to finding other revenue streams

Ill try and immerse mysef in the forum as much as possible over the coming weeks.

Still not decided on Phnom Phen or Sihanoukville to settle, any suggestions appreciated.
Welcome to the forum. First thing is to get up to speed with what's going on. Here's some introductory reading for you on Sihanoukville.
newsworthy/more-chinese-takeover-sihano ... 16148.html
And when you've read that one, just do a forum search on Sihanoukville and there's plenty more.
You might look at Siem Reap or Kampot as possible alternatives.

Hello all. I'm planning on settling in Cambodia later this year (ER) after visiting regularly for the last 6 or 7 years. I have a place lined up in the sticks and am looking forward to the quiet life (or as quiet as it can be in the KoW). I've been a keen follower of CEO for a few years and have have found it both entertaining and informative, now I've took the plunge and joined up I may just make the occasional post.
