Introduce Yourself

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Hello. I am an Australian guy. I recently acquired a lease on a vacant large building and land in Siem Reap very near Angkor Wat entry gate that I am renovating into a guesthouse (just 7 minutes by bicycle). I would like to advertise here. I have been reading this forum for years. My guesthouse will offer bar/restaurant, pool table, tennis table, volley ball and soon a swimming pool. I will offer free swimming lessons due to the very low percentage of Cambodians that don't know how to swim and the very high number of drownings that could be avoided. I am located just north of Road 60 Next door to 60Road Studios.
My bar and restaurant is open to the public.

Hello, first time poster here, so! still trying to learn the ropes.
First time poster, but long time voyeur I suppose.
It was the Topic of the Norvun Nutter that finally push me in to registering with CEO.
I would suggest that any complaints, be directed at prahocalypse now, rather than later.

OK, a little about myself. Just prior to and during the GFC, we/my wife and I, couldn’t decide between Siem Reap or Kampot as far as relocating, we would instead come to the conclusion that, there was no place like home (for the medical coverage) and that traveling over and back a couple of times a year for up to a couple of months on each occasion, would be a safer decision.

Well, that’s about all I have for you at the moment.

There will be question. Thanks for the answers.

Hi,
Lurked here on occasion I guess since the site was started. Seems I remember finding it through 'the other forum'. Anyhows, we're living in Bangkok at present. Tagged the FB page a while back, so see some posts here. Joined up so could follow.
