Introduce Yourself

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

I'm here a grand total of 8 days :) but I should be here the bones of a year this time. Came here for two months last year fell in love with the place. Can be found with a semi drunken grin and in perennially happy humour at Charlie Harpers or the Sky Bar my likes include 50 cent beer schnitzel and the exotic beauties that fill the highways and byways of this fair land. I dislike sand in my underwear, douchebags who feel the need to tell me how I overpaid on everything from the bus to Phnom penh to the toilet paper in the market and the feeling of being watched I get in my shower,,,,

Hi. I don't live in Cambodia but I know a little about it. I got an email from a friend of a friend telling me about this site. I may move to Cambodia one day, we'll just see what happens. Holy shit, shouldn't have used my real email to sign up. Damn it, now the mods will know who I am. Don't ban me yet!

I'm Alex. Not really a Cambodia Expat (BKK as in Bangkok, not BKK1). But Phnom Penh isn't really safe from me, you'll see. Cheers!

Possibly the most hated non-troll...somewhere else...I want to join this here forum and give it another run. I know, I know, you think this is just like all those times I tried rehab, or college, or basic hygiene, then got derailed, Off the Rails, as it were. I mean...fuck...you re-word a song to make it about child rape on a thread about some kiddy fiddler then you're the bad guy. I might work for the government, but if I told you that, I'd have to kill myself.

Welcome to the kingdom! ! Everyone here was "fresh off the boat" at one time, so please feel free to ask any questions you want here on our forum, and I'm certain we already have enough long-term Cambodia expats that are willing and able to happily help you, and any other new arrivals out with whatever info you seek!

I think we all agree that Cambodia is a great place to live, but we all still have questions from time to time. No shame in that!

Hi, and thanks for the blessing! Glad to see you over here!

I honestly believe we are on the right path to attracting all of the right kinds of posters that are interested in all things Cambodia and have a good outlook about living life in the kingdom!

Sometimes it can be tough living here, or anywhere as an expat for that matter, but we are really trying our best to encourage a fun, positive atmosphere for expats to debate and discuss anything that interests them here.

Nobody knows the future, but I'm really excited about the direction this forum is heading!

Haha, glad to see you over here, and I look forward to your input on random topics! Catch up with you next time I'm Bangkok (or when you make it over here)!

Thanks for the support, everyone! :beers:
