Installing a hot water shower?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

The only thing that may or may not be complicated is that there are no nearby outlets. I think I need to hire an electrician to have a look.

They do sell electric wires in long lengths you know, so proximity shouldn't really matter... ;-)
Just make sure he doesn't gouge you on the cost of materials.

I think I've already made clear that I have no idea what I'm talking about when it comes to electricity or home improvement, but I have visions of wires strung across the room and hanging loose in the bathroom...this is the sort of thing that keeps me up at night.

giblet, you need a barang/well-known recommended Khmer to check it out, otherwise you will get ripped off.

I suggest you ask ken svay, he will definitely know someone. Or Murray.

Thats why I suggested she contact Jess to get info on the Vietnamese electrician used by her and Padder. Ken Svay would be a good bet though.

On the case. Going to get a proper electrician over to assess the situation. Maybe he can figure out how to put in a few more outlets while he's at it.
