This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Well, Siddhārtha Gautama (The Buddha) was from India, so there you go... The best that most countries can boast of is some lousy king or queen, athlete, or celebrity, maybe a minor saint...

I quite enjoyed my time spent in India in '93 and '96. Yes, the cities are shitholes, so wise tourists avoid them. I have fond memories of Sikkim and Darjeeling, Varanasi, Bodhgaya, the desert in Rajasthan, the Island of Diu, the caves in Maharashtra, South Goa, and Kerala.
