India to Cambodia
Re: India to Cambodia
I would not like the multi flight. Them days are well over. Was in India 93/94 with visa runs north and south.tightenupvolume1 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 21, 2018 2:43 am Andy, i can,t be fucked doing a multi leg trip. I am going to goa for the winter and will get a ticket from my usual agency, london/bombay return. I just thought i may pop over for a couple of weeks to have a look.

Re: India to Cambodia
I visited Goa in the rainy season in 93 that time there was nothing. Made the same mistake the following year! Timing was bad.phuketrichard wrote: ↑Sat Jul 21, 2018 7:40 am you can hit the X on the top right, next to the edit button
but ONLY for a short time an never after someone else has posted.
visited Goa back in 1975, stayed a month and loved it, had a shack on the beach for $25/month which i shared with a friend, brought down a few kilos from Nepal. Never went back, but have returned to India proper

Possible, but I think you need "fixers" who stay with you from border to border in some countries.AndyKK wrote: ↑Tue Jul 24, 2018 11:21 amIs it possible to do today?fatuousdrivel wrote: ↑Sat Jul 21, 2018 10:06 am I thought this was going to be about a trip from India to Cambodia by road.

to cross from India to Burma u need an agent to arrange a permit, guide and car to accompany you, to cross into Thailand same,( Thailand does not accept Carnets), Tours do it as well
Legally you need advance permit to enter Camboida as well from PP>but i just cross at osmach
an excellent source;; https://www.facebook.com/groups/1024579897597702/
seems more an more are making the crossing nowadays but you need $$$$
to travel independently by local bus ,,,,no problems
