120kg! Wow.
Couldn’t imagine carrying that much weight in this heat.

Over a year here, I vary between high of 85kg, and low of around 76kg.
Right now, I'm closer to 80.

When you are fat you do feel the heat more, I drink a lot of cold or frozen drinks to keep cool, and these are one contributing factor with my weight gain.davegorman wrote: ↑Mon Dec 24, 2018 10:50 am 120kg! Wow.

I am taller than average. Some shorter people who weigh less are more obese. At least that is what I like to think.
I still cycle reasonable distances often. Sometimes 10, 20 or even 30 km a day. I have muscle and fat. I am quite fit for a fat person. But I dont have endurance. While I am cycling, I have a lot of rest and drink breaks.

Jamie off topic question. Did you ever fight in the ring one of the Thai fighters. They look really good in the ring. Off course you are doing kick boxing I assume, they do Thai. But still...Jamie_Lambo wrote: ↑Mon Dec 24, 2018 1:05 amyeah im an active guy when im in the UK, working on building sites and going boxing a lot, then i come here and do nothing but eat and drink and the odd time in the boxing gymexplorer wrote: ↑Mon Dec 24, 2018 12:26 amDo you know you can get rid of the water by avoiding sodium and consuming potassium? When you are very fit, and you slow down, the weight will go on.
the main reason for the bloating is Dehydration, causes the body to retain water, dont drink enough water out here and often get dehydrated, especially if i been going out a lot
Re: How's your weight?
My bike is also fat. So we get on well together.

fighting in Thailand is a different kettle of fish though, most have conditioned their bodies from a very young age, fucking hard as nails
its still on my bucket list to do though, if i was to ever fight again it would only be for a fight in Thailand

Thats what I thought. Because many times I see on internet big white guys being knock out by a thai fighter easy.Jamie_Lambo wrote: ↑Mon Dec 24, 2018 12:16 pmdone a lot of sparring in Thailand but not had a competitive fight there, ive also trained Muay Thai for many years (on and off for 12 years) used to do it on the side when i was kickboxingTheWarrior wrote: ↑Mon Dec 24, 2018 12:00 pm

Once more question how much do I look to spend for 1 month using Muat Thai gym, 2-3 hours per days. Lets say sparing 2-3 time per week. And private or group lesson 2-3 times per week. Somewhere in Chang Mai, Chang Rai area.
Thanks

Re: How's your weight?
Yes, it crosses water easily. Just take the bridge, or a ferry.
These bikes actually do float on water, but lying on their side. There is enough air in the tires. Most other bikes go to the bottom. Which is only handy if it fell in a river of lake.
I actually went through a lot of flooded areas when the river rose. I went to a lot of places other people didnt go. The maximum depth I rode in was about half a meter. There is more rolling resistance in water than with an ordinary bike. It is OK on good roads, but you need to be very careful on dirt roads when they are flooded. There can be large holes in them.
Riding through water also shortens the life of some parts.
It was worth it for the fun I had.
