How do you ride/drive differently in Cambodia?

What's odd is that if you were to drive a car, you would think ypu'll get to your destination sooner but from my experience it is not the case... Rush hour, motos, tuk tuk, bikes, walkers... Its madness driving a car during the day

ONLY in Phnom Penh.
Rest of the country its just mind numbing to drive, but u do get there faster

BUT you do share the road with;
Cars, Speeding bus's, trucks, overloaded trucks, Oxcarts, Rickshaws, motorcycles, motorcycles with multiple passengers, motorcycles with trailers,

,

tuk tuks, walkers, bicyclist, cows, ducks, chickens, dogs, goats, those Chinese type tractors, ( what are they called...those things that you sit behind the engine, long handlebars and it tows a trailer?

Taxi's with external passengers

Buffaloes

etc

Also this happens a lot. Cars parked in this manner while plenty of space around, waiting for their food to be delivered from nearby stall/restaurant. Being completely ignorant of other traffic.

The worst place for stupid congestion is around the schools at the end of classes. Everyone drives to the school (on their own) and park, double park or just stop to collect one (1) kid. BKK! is a nightmare to pass through at these times. One of the reasons I moved.

I tend to walk more than taking a buggy. I dropped my ego on most par 4/5s and go with a 3-wood for positioning over distance. Hope this helps.
