Re: How do you fix roads in Cambodia?
what do u expect them to do? the govt arent moving fast enuff, the cheapest is to dump construction debris on it like broken brick n stones, but that still cost 5$ a truck
Money is not the problem, the problem is no money
Re: How do you fix roads in Cambodia?
Apparently, it is the government doing it. And there's a little more than broken bricks and stone in these truckloads their bud.
I might as well just cancel my garbage pickup and start filling in potholes with it if this is considered normal. The lady down the street just comes out her front door and dumps her dustpan in the middle of the road now. And why shouldn't she if the government is letting construction companies dump their bags of garbage that way.

That's not garbage, it's low grade building rubble...
Anyway, I don't know what anyone's moaning about,
it's not so long ago that the national routes
were all a lot worse than that.

Silence, exile, and cunning.

It's only a matter of time, there just waiting for the Chinese to pull their finger out.
Always "hope" but never "expect".

Re: How do you fix roads in Cambodia?
I remember when Sothearos was just a mud track, Khmer Rouge everywhere, tigers and crocodiles prowling the Bassac banks, natives in loincloths bringing me my gin and tonic as I sat at FCC charging my watch-shaker with the cabal and throwing 100 riel notes to the impoverished peasants...bloody newbies have no idea what the real Cambodia was like....aaah, indeed, 2017 was a year to remember!
