how much did you pay for tv?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. i paid 5$ for "cable" tv which i believe are hijacked signals from an individual subscriber and split into numerous streams, which in the end he sold to numerous customers.

That's the way it goes. If you are unhappy with the arrangement, you could organize it so that you pay for all of your supply. I pay $10 a month for cable TV, and it sort of pisses me off because I barely ever use it.

$0. People pay for TV? In fairness I'm sure they hide it in my rent (both in Cambodia and Thailand) but as I don't watch TV it's a bit of a waste really. (Note: This is not a bizarre moral stance on the value of TV, I do download and watch the occasional TV series but most of the time I'd rather read a book.)

In Takhmau , I paid $80 for a box setup and a aerial, to connect to ''Supernet '',,, 60 plus channels and no ongoing monthly fees. Don't ask me any more about it as I never watch it. It is for the family use only.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

You were robbed. The going rate for an M8S a year ago was $40-80 from numerous AliExpress suppliers. They are pretty good boxes.
