How many Cambodian' women are married to foreigner spies? I guess there must be at least a few thousand by now. Infecting THE purity of Cambodian' culture with their dirty foreigner ways?

Hey, I just try and bring you the news before it breaks. I expect there are a couple of news outlets just begging to print this story.
I'm just the driver. Don't blame me when they open the back of the truck and find it full of rotten chicken parts.
Plus, I think you may have missed the really ironic parts. Think VietQ and opposite sex.

Hey, you didn't just drive the truck, you loaded it too.
As my old Cajun bait seller used to say, "I opes you luck.

You do realise that the racial purity nonsense has been advanced by certain members of the opposing team ? And that it is used for fear-mongering by both sides of the political divide, playing on deep-rooted fears about Khmer cultural identity.
Despite your professed irony, it's a bit of a sick subject to banter about IMO. These things get stirred up in no time, and you probably won't be affected, but ask your Vietnamese friends how they feel about this.

Interesting post. But I was talking about the Cambodian equivalent of the VietQ. Thinking it may be interesting to make a comparison between both country's views of their own returnees.

There is an article in an Australian paper today which talks about Vietnam in relation to Cambodia.
