How long is the "allowance for marry" valid?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. Yes, just like I told you many pages ago

What visa type i should now really apply for when i go to cambodia for marry?
Tourist Visa - only 30 days
I read i need an EG Ordinary Visa aka Business Visa...but i also read if i get into Camobdia with that Business Visa, they want from me a work permit before they let me marry. So is there also an EG Ordinary Visa FOR marry itself? I dont get it.

What Visa type you used when you married in the past and you had any problems?
Enter Cambodia on the E-type (Ordinary) Visa, and then apply for the 6 month EG (General) Extension of Stay. This EOS is designed for those seeking employment or business opportunities, and is sufficient to complete the marriage application process.

You apply for an ordinary visa. It's a general visa, can be used for loads of reasons. No questions asked.

If you extend it to an EG there are no documents needed, or a reason needed. Again, no questions asked.

If they ask you your purpose of stay when you apply for the E-type (Ordinary) Visa on Arrival, just tell them employment or business.

When you apply for your EG (General) Extension of Stay, your justification is "seeking employment - looking for work".

No Work Permit required until you have successfully obtained a 6 or 12 month EB (Business) EOS.

Hm okay, and that i just do all these paperwork with a Tourist Visa (Extendable for 30 days=60days) is not possible?

No, you cannot apply for marriage on a T-type (Tourist) Visa
