How to deal when you're down?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

I personally always think of this: whatever your problem is, someone has had the same problem before, and someone ALWAYS has it worse. My problems sometimes sound big, but when I compare them to others people have had, or how bad it COULD be, I soon stop complaining. Surrounding yourself with friends and family and most importantly, KEEPING BUSY, helps.
Yes,it's too small if I compare with others. Sometimes I just go out and watch beggars and then I realize how luck I am.

You need to read all of that link. I'll give you the HST exam on Monday. Then we can discuss the matchmaking stuff.

btw, what would your family think if you found a barang as a potential husband?

BTW it's an easy question! my family wouldn't think anything after I find him.

Positive Mental Attitude, although once you get on that slippery slope to depression'ville then its a hard slope to get off, trust me i know, but surrounding yourself with positive friends and family and putting yourself in environments that make you happy can help, exercise as mentioned is great for the mind, it releases good endorphins which can be good mood changers, alcohol on the other hand, it sometimes can be a temporary solution but can hit you twice as hard when you sober up, if its just your mood thats down then a good night out with friends could help, but if its due to other problems then it will do nothing but set you back further, drinking wont make problems go away and alcohol is a depressant

Once I went to a bar ( not a club) and my best friend texted me to go out, but i replied her I was at the bar. Come with me?
she said she's not comfortable to go such a place, don't feel any joy in doing so. why I go to such that place? Bored with life or want to know new thing?
Hehehe... I was speakless. Image Image Image
