How can one go about not getting ban?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

JonnoHitler? It has crossed my mind.

Honestly though, he's quite the intellectual when he wants to be, and I'm on the fence about his name.

Nothing wrong with being called Jonno, IMO.

I tend to enjoy other peoples posts rather than post myself.I kept the same username as K440 and I hope that's not a problem for anyone.

Digg3r wrote: Well the reason a lot of people migrated over here is they were sick of the negativity, over moderation, on khmer 440.

But by keeping up the negativity here then how long will it be until this forum is EXACTLY the same as the previous?

Not my concern, just an observation.
Agreed.

This is turning borderline shitty.

To everyone: Digger is exactly right. Keep it light and fun, and we can talk about almost anything. Start getting nasty, and I have to actually start using my dreaded Modding powers.

I know some people want to air their opinions that they aren't allowed to air elsewhere, and that's perfectly fine, but we will NOT allow you to just flame and insult K440 or its members/admin/mods.

Again, many of us had a lot of fun on K440, and let's not forget that!

As Digger said, we started this site for many reasons, and one of them is that many people, including the CEO team over here, get sick of the negativity that pops up all over the place.

So, we want to keep CEO as free and open as we can, but we're asking you to help us keeps things within reason.

Also, I know MANY of you in real life and consider you all friends, so do a friend a favor and let's get rid of the negativity that has done so much damage over on K440, ok??

Also, as a reminder:

There was one post that went to far, and it was Jonno's (shocking, eh?). Under no circumstances are you, or me, or anyone allowed to post about real member's names from either here, K440 or any other forum. He also referred to someone's ethnicity or religion. Also not tolerated.

I don't want to call this a "warning" per se, but now you ALL know what is expected.

I believe you will find CEO's moderation very reasonable and fair.

Remember, we don't want negativity brought from over there to here!! That's more than fair, right??

Thanks guys!! :assasin:
We certainly don't what negative vibes , very fair I think. So what happened?
