Home Cooking

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

What... No pans?

How do you cook a decent breakfast with a hand blender and slow cooker?

Your mother. You come off pretty arrogant. Oh yeah... Hardly anything you list is something I would consider home cooking. When you start talking about red wine sauces and shit, I think that's just "cooking"
I'll give ya 500 Riel for it...

Everybody to their own. You obviously don't use red wine in cooking much. Maybe drink it all before hand?

I am arrogant. So what?

Some bad cut of meat braised for hours - osso buco, lamb shanks, ox tail, short ribs, beef bourguignon etc. I love a whole chicken smoked in my Weber too. Oh yeah, roasted garlic, some funky blue cheese (like Gorgenzola), & a big Red.

Beef bourguignon :thumb: One of the disadvantages of condo living, no barbeques allowed

"
I am arrogant. So what?" Well, it's a bit like building an ego highrise on a quicksand foundation. The fun is watching it sink.
As my old Cajun bait seller used to say, "I opes you luck.
