Hide your stash; A Cautionary Tale
Hide your stash; A Cautionary Tale
It took me a long time to save... I kept it hidden in an old cabin luggage bag. But my wife found it, took it.... and spent it....
30 f**thousand.. gone in a blink of an eye.
What I want to know is this.... who takes that many 100 Riel notes shopping??
Gutted the.. it was an impressive stash.

I have given up hiding my 100 r notes . I put them in bundles of ten and hid behind , the mirror on the wall, photo frame hanging on the wall, inside pillows, pockets of my clothes in cabinet , under the mattress, and other places that no-one would look , but the kids in my family can smell money from the other side of the room.
Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

I give all my 100s & 500s to my son for his piggy bank - last count he had close to $200 in that sucker ... mother "borrowed" 5,000 riel to pay a tuk-tuk. All hell broke loose I can assure you.IraHayes wrote: ↑Wed Sep 11, 2019 8:04 am It took me a long time to save... I kept it hidden in an old cabin luggage bag. I know a guy in Indonesia whose wife is an illegal money lender. He was telling me earlier in the year they have $60 000 in cash kept in their room and he has gotten to the point of hating the job of money counting as many people make repayments in small denominations of 1000, 5000 and 10 000 rupiah notes.

Re: Hide your stash; A Cautionary Tale
My wife greedily snatches all mine.
And she goes to the bank and changes big notes for more.
For the monks, the beggars and the feast days.
When she goes to the bank to get some more, she insists on used notes.
She reckons it's disrespectful to hand out new ones to poor people.

One day something may happen. For example, you have health problems. That money may be what you need in that situation. Without it you may have serious difficulties.IraHayes wrote: ↑Wed Sep 11, 2019 8:04 am It took me a long time to save... I kept it hidden in an old cabin luggage bag. The 100 Riel notes are worthless. But that’s just my .02 cents.
