Hidden Cameras in Siem Reap Guesthouse

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Hell of a holiday........

We're you suggesting nude Yoga?

At least that would have been more interesting than downloading apps that detect spy cameras.

Did OP make the app?

I have moved out of longer term accommodation because I considered the place was bugged. When I made enquiries at the then Phnom Penh Municipal Police - Office of Central Security, the man who received my enquiry seemed to me most evasive, was very unhelpful, and refused to even tell me his name.

Last night I made comments concerning secrecy surrounding the matter to someone of local appearance in Phnom Penh who seemed to be managing the premises of a business that was, if I observed correctly, advertised in English with a somewhat small cardboard sign as providing second hand video repair.

Though I left his premises immediately, he said, “Soon somebody hit you and you die”, suggesting someone would come “in ten minutes” to kill me and telling me to, “Run fastly” when I checked to confirm that I had understood him correctly.

When I made mention of the wrongfulness of the practice, he responded directly with, “This isn’t Europe, you know”.

Quite right, young Brendan,

Were I in your pungent boots, I'd procure the glass pipe for one last hit before the fella is along to end ya.

If you can't wait, just throw yourself under a bus and save yourself the suspense, thanks.
