Hey English teacher out there

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

I'm always difficult to pronounce it. :(
When I try to pronouce the end sound, I'm shy because my lips look... :p
I don't have confidence when people laugh at me.
Which one ? Turmoil ? Lol. How it sounds is awesome.

The problem could be that you're speaking with too many Australians and Kiwis. As far as I can tell, "six, sex, and sick" are all the same word to them. They also say "cob" and "cunt" the same, so you never know if they're insulting you or trying to be your friend. ;)

For me, i don't really have many Aussie or Kiwi friends. Most of barangs i know are non native speaker. They are mostly Europeans with good accent which is almost close to native speaker. I actually like Australian accent, wish i have that accent. :) I always used the situation or context to gerneralise what people are saying.

Heh, I actually like both accents as well, just having a bit of fun with the folks from down under. My favorite accent is South African.
