Help Tammy Durand Pomroy Feed Starving Children in Siem Reap

Post by General Mackevili »

She went to Cambodia on her honeymoon, volunteered for a week, and now she feeds kids their only meal of the day. She's a saint:

"ABCs and Rice, as the name implies, is all about education and nutrition. The charity teaches children from the ages of four to 16 and feeds them a hot meal, which, in this developing country, is often their only meal of the day. ABCs even grows its own produce and raises fish to help feed their students' families as well."

Tammy didn't come to Cambodia on her honeymoon. That's the other lady talked about in the article.

How do you know where Tammy did or didn't go on her honeymoon? Can't I just quote an unnamed source and we can agree to disagree?

Good catch. :thumb:

I am working for no pay for a very similar operation, living on site in a 3m x 3m metal hut.
It is called http://choice-cambodia.org/blog/
My focus will be developing bee keeping, poultry raising with an incubator, tilapia growing, and veg gardens.
I will be running short courses on these subjects open to the general public.

That sounds really interesting Frank; two questions come immediately to mind.
1). Will you post the dates of the short courses on this forum?

2). Do you happen to know what the cost, if any, will be?:
As my old Cajun bait seller used to say, "I opes you luck.
