Help Needed: Bail Money for Lance Whitmore in Thai Prison

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. Any news available on Lance's pal that he rolled over on and got the heavier sentence? Thanks.
perhaps if UK sentencing norms were closer to Thai sentences we would not have the massive drug and county lines problem that we have in the UK. I see some merit in the death penalty for drug trafficking or supplying becasue it kills people directly and indirectly and it is premeditated. Murder can happen in a blink of any eye as a crime of passion or fear, but drug dealing is a chosen act

Totally agree. Furthermore, I hope Lance's bunghole has been pummeled countless times.

What "kills people directly"? The guy was selling a few ecstasy pills, barely anyone ever dies from them. People choose to take drugs, nobody forces them.
Silence, exile, and cunning.

That's true the guy wasnt selling methamphetamine or heroin. But he was a long time and well known to the cops dealer. And he sold his pal down the river, who got the far worse sentence.

That was a general point. For example bad heroin kills, heroing overdose kills, even potheads who drive while under the influence kill. No drug user is innocent. they are all making donations to criminal organisations including ISIS and the"Mafia". if you sent $100 to these organisations you would be arrested but junkies seem to think its fine to give $100i indirectly through their local drug crimelord. The drug trade is the drug trade. People die all the time. Cocaine users in the US are responsible for the carnage in mexice with drug cartels. No junkies, no cartels
