Help Howie's Son Find a Good Family

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. "My fiancee has a 10 year old son...."

My God, this kid is 2, REPEAT 2, years old. And it's his natural father, not his mother's boyfriend, putting up this ad.

If this is his notion of right, he should be encouraged to give away the rest of his offspring. Clearly they can do much better.

Good on you for not doing it though.
Thanks. It wasn't easy. The kid would constantly mock my poor Khmer and it made me want to pick him up by his face but I turned the tables by learning to read better than the little bastard. Oh you don't know what ខ្ពើម reads? It's what I am with your weirdo ass that constantly pisses on the bathroom floor rather than inside the toilet.

Hahaha! I'm terrified at the thought of having kids. This solidifies things.

I admit I don't know Howie or the story..never been to his bar. I assumed one of his bargirls abandoned her kid to his care. If that's true, and he's his biological kid, then that's pretty fucked up. :(

I noticed someone saying how it looked just like him... makes it sound like it's his.

We're terrified at the thought of you having kids, too.

I jest, you'll be a brilliant father.

I know that SC had not mentioned this but we have a friend that was badly hurt by her husband and still bears the scars many years later. This week she asked us to take on her 12yo son as the husband is still around and still hurting her.
I can't and won't talk any more about it but it is such an awful situation and I'm quite heartbroken by the whole thing.

For once, OD and I are on the same page. The new info only makes it worse in my eyes.

Yeah, but Howie is getting rid of the kid because his old cashier / new girlfriend doesn't like him. What an excuse!

Is the kid really only 2? Howie has been with the new wife/gf/old cashier for at least 2-3 years.
