Have you lost your job due to Corona Virus? Need a CV?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Yes, half price for expats including Seek or indeed.

I don’t provide proofreading services, so would have no idea what to charge.
I’m probably not the best person for that job, as my focus is CVs and profiles.

ps, good move, good luck. As you are for sure already aware, there will be heaps of people changing jobs right now, to the many new jobs related to handling this crises.
I’m always busy, but i think things are about to get really busy.

90% of my clients are South Africans moving to Australia, NZ and Canada - but over the weekend I received several RFQ from Australians wanting to change careers.

I think this virus will be a major life changer for lots of people.

Hire a Bangladeshi to do your CV, get hired by a Bangladeshi.

Hire Rozzieoz to do your CV, don’t get hired by a Bangladeshi.

Obviously people who don’t want to get hired by only Bangladeshi bosses would use Rozzieoz.

I have conducted over 40 interviews over the last six months. Both Khmer and foreigner applicants. I can say honestly say that 99% of the CV's were garbage.

It's amazing how applicants can present themselves with such rubbish, especially when this is a chance to make a good first impression.

Having a good CV is extremely important, spending money on a professional CV writer is money well spent.

Here in Cambodia you can get away with a substandard CV. A lot of the hiring managers speak ESL so their comprehension on grammar and vocabulary, etc., is not immediate/upper-immediate so applicants can get away with a lot.

In a nation run by swine, all pigs are upward-mobile and the rest of us are fucked until we can put our acts together: not necessarily to win, but mainly to keep from losing completely. HST
