I'm assuming they have a menu, so you can't really complain about them tricking you into overspending.

Still, I'll never go there. What are those, jugs of Angkor? Probably $10 per jug...

From what I've seen from folks commenting on their facebook the price on the menu is not the price you pay.

No, they add service charge. Even for a single beer!

Hello,

I liked the atmosphere of the Hard Rock Cafe actually. The price are kinda similar to other HRC overseas, like a burger around 13$ and a drink 6$. The pinoy band is playing some rock music which is pleasant to listen and change from the usual Justin Bieber and other mainstream musics in Cambodia.

About the bill ... They are charging the bill following Khmer Taxation Law. The price on the menu are all taxes excluded.
To be accurate, it goes like this :
- Service 10%
- VAT 10%
- PLT 3% (only on alcoholic drinks) about the PLT I heard there was a prakas few weeks ago but I'm not sure about the changes.
So for a bill of 30$, it went up as 40$ after taxes.

They're only following the laws, by the way Darlin Darlin are charging the same way.
Don't forget the water buffalo

Where does the service charge go? There's no law requiring the assessment of a 10% service charge.
