also, dishes from all over the world are easily found.
whatever 'differences' the expat may find with the local population, in terms of views, heritage, religion, they are - bottomline - very smart people.
you can talk to them. they share their views. and moreover and compared to thailand or cambodia - they DO HAVE views. on everything. they know, what is happening in the world, what others may think and do.
whereever you go, they have to tell some story about their village, their lifes, and the rest of the world.
there is an interesting world out there. perhaps just not here.
