Govt. threatens to shut down Cambodia Daily

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. Not only that, but, Bernard Krisher has also written to the PM saying that he will travel to the Kingdom to take on any tax liabilities.

All news outlets have a bias. The editors or owners direct the leanings of stories printed and include only content they wish to put out there.

I read all news when I can and see subtle (and not so subtle ) differences in the same stories.

He He is Ha Ha because drawing attention by crazy actions is noticed by local voters.

International sanctions will not have much effect but if US manufacturing companies pull out of the country this will make waves of dissent among loyalists (suppliers and associated businesses) .

Readers will recall the CD publishing a tell-all issue about HE's family's holdings and directorships.

Yes?

Well, it was quite obvious that it was only a matter of time before this mean and unforgivingly
vindictive non-Ruritania simply stamped on the CD like a cockroach encountered in the kitchen.

Not quite. It was an original story by Global Witness: https://www.globalwitness.org/en/report ... -takeover/, which was then was re-reported by most of the English language media.
