Is Golden Sorya Mall being torn down?

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. Sure it has drug dealers, whores and cold beer.but in all fairness I dont see what all the fus is about..

I have frequent must worst places around the world that would make GSM look like a bible study group.
Please, where are these places?
Try Hillbrow

Also, almost any Caribbean, most central and southern American cities as well have wayyyyyyyyyy worse than gsm. You guys should try Honduras or el Salvador if you want to see some fucked up shit. Saying that, I do agree that Gsm is shit hole.

I noticed that photo on page 1 is, or was, the street entrance to the bar run by the Vienamese woman and her husband, one of the first bars to open there. What about the Swiss food joint that was behind it, has it gone as well.

Also, what about the bars/restaurants facing 51 street, say from the 99 bar, which is that mini mart with a few tables out front and the others going up towards St 172, have they been demolished as well?

Cambodia,,,, Don't fall in love with her.
Like the spoilt child she is, she will not be happy till she destroys herself from within and breaks your heart.

Was told last night that they are going to add a second level to the mall. And twelve months until reopening.

Anyone hearing the same.

No-one heard anything about the deaths at Nana Hotel near GSM?
https://goo.gl/kECCQV

Headline for that Nokorwat article reads
"Nana Hotel Secretly Moves 2 Dead Bodies via Back Exit : Suspicion of Murder"

Also been similarly reported on Koh Santepheap. https://kohsantepheapdaily.com.kh/article/557082.html
No details of the nationality of the 2 corpses, no statement given by local authorities.

Definitely worthy of a post in the News Section. Owner is well connected though I doubt even he could hide a possible foreigner death or two, especially a murder.
