It was normal in 1996 when it was a sleepy coastal town. Foreigners barged into that deep sleep and by 2000 it was a nightmare. Gone for good-rip little village.

It's been Cambodia's primary sea port city since the French started building it in the 50s. It's never been a sleepy village. Admittedly the Ochheuteal end was a bit sleepy as it wasn't populated. Shv is like every port city in the world
