Maybe if DiCaprio didn't fly around everywhere in his own personal jet he'd have more credibility:

A source close to Mr DiCaprio said that the actor did not charter his own flights, but merely “hitched a ride with someone already flying back and to Cannes.

Hitch-hiking by private jet. Is this environmentally friendly or not ?
Is any sort of travel by plane "ok " ? There are lots of questions for greenies that like to travel.

It's a tough call if you want to do things right. But a good start to environmentalism with integrity would be to have all international environmental and 'save the planet' summits on video-conference, instead of loads of people flying around the world to talk about problems they are contributing to themselves. For sure this would be less fun, but it's walk the talk IMO.
