from google
Mix equal parts baking soda and powdered sugar. Place small amounts in areas you expect ants to locate, including suspected points of entry or frequented hangouts. The powdered sugar is used to bait the ants, as many species of ants are attracted to sweet food sources. The baking soda is what kills the ants.

I'm currently trialling a mix of icing sugar and boric acid (Eschols Roach Tablets crushed up) mixed with a little condensed milk to make a paste. I put it in a shallow dish under the fridge a few days ago and have seen noticeably fewer ants since then. In hindsight the icing sugar was probably not necessary.

The real aim is for them to take it back to their nest, rather than just killing the ones that rock up.

plain old borax sugar and water will work too. you have to reduce the borax granules in size by crushing them. you can find borax in big markets as they llegaly put it on meat and fish to retard spoilage.
very reliable ant killer

Echols Roach Tablets = 40% boric acid, got them from Thai Huot I think

They look like large aspirin tablets, definitely work on roaches.

If you stick washing powder round their holes, oo-er, they'll piss off somewhere else.

i piss in a 10 liter container with a screw top at night. it is full in about a week.
then i hoe the ants nest into a nice little dam and pour the piss in.
about 10 liters will kill a real big red ant nest.
never needs a 2nd treatment.
when i run out of ants i cut it to 10 % and run it through the garden irrigation- great foliar fertilizer and does not smell at all when diluted.
I wait until no one is watching to do these things LOL.
got a bumper crop of corn in 70 days running it thru spray irrigation.

piss was formerly a highly valued commodity prior to petrochems.
they still harvest it for hormones in some countries.
you can evaporate, wash and evaporate the salts for making gunpowder or curing bacon.

nasty but effective.

There would have to be the most desperate bacon shortage to go there.

I thin you'll find "taking the piss" to be be an historical reference. They left buckets around london for people to wee into for use use by the tanners in Barking. I trump your bottles of piss with this fine collection of jism. Jissom? Man fat.:
