On the 23rd of November the Sihanoukville Immigration Police Facebook page asked for the public's help identifying a man that died in a motorbike accident but had no ID on him. They shared a closeup picture of the deceased man.

Then today they announced that they have identified the man as Alexander Moritz Watrin and posted his passport ID page and a letter from his mother requesting the body.

But here's the thing; I don't think the picture of the dead guy and the passport picture of Alexander Moritz Watrin look ANYTHING alike at all.

Do you?

Noses look completely different. The guy in the passport has a very square jaw and chin. The dead guy has a pointy chin. The guy in the passport pic looks older than the dead guy (usually your passport pic looks younger that you are because it was taken in the past).

Is it within the realm of possibility that Mr Clean is trying to fake his own death with the help of his family?

A dead guy shows up that nobody can identify for a few days, so he gets his mother to claim the body, even though they look nothing alike?

What do you think about the pics. I think they wrongly identified the man.

A German Pedophile with the name "Alexander Moritz Watrin" was sentenced to 10 years in prison in 2006 for sexually abusing young boys. Yes, he was released early.

I realize this is farfetched, but the pics just don't match.

Feel free to call me crazy, but only AFTER you look at both pics and think they are the same person.

Seems like Cambodia would still be one of the easier countries to claim the body of an unknown John Doe and ask to have it handed over.

And hey General, I seriously doubt that he is a p......... Years ago I personally have talked to his mother.......he is not even a gay. German authorities have dropped all charges years ago. You must know that.

You're saying you know he's not gay because you talked to his mother?

Do you have a link to the charges being dropped in Germany?

But I'm more interested in how you know he's not gay because you've talked to his mother. Did you ask her if her son was gay or did she just offer that info to you?

And if you've never met him, what were you doing talking to his mother?

Saying I'm confused right now would be an understatement.
