Gawddamn, it finally rained!!!

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Thank god

I actually love the rains and rainy season. Something soothing about the rain falling while you drift off to sleep.

Could be interesting going by the radar animated slideshow. Seems like showers coming in from the north-west on a collision course with another front coming from the east.

Damn! I was hoping the cold air would meet the hot air and put on a nice electrical storm.

Let's see how well kiwiincambodia sleeps then!! :whip:

Hot damn the water in the well is rising! But the air is clouded over with flies and the mosquitoes are preparing to wage a dengue campaign. Breaking even in The Kingdom of Wonder.

chrouy changva has had about 3 hours tonight of a gentle rain after last nights complete squib of the giant storms that predictably evaporated 5 km east of here.
my kaffir lime is 1/2 dead and the bananas are in a dire state despite watering.

i have maybe 8 mangos, and the ones that have leaky taps underneath are fruiting prolifically
i think maybe we have had 4 mm tonight.

Dom pedro el millardo who formerly posted here related his neighbours were field planting rice from the nursery beds last Tuesday.
I sure hope the drought will break, the rural people are in extreme hardship. the recent weather actually killed many people for want of sufficient clean water.
