Gawddamn, it finally rained!!!

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Drove out of the center about 4.30 and the air was really heavy and hot compared to earlier. Caught a 30 minute rainstorm around 5.00 near Stung Meanchey. Nice after all this time but not really enough!

Kuroneko, you should go into advertising. You're hit on one hell of a slogan,
"Stay dry, drink beer!"

No, god invented wine because it tastes better than water. (However, water's prob'ly better for cleaning your car and stuff like that.)

Here in Phuket, not only is it the hottest its been in 65 Years, we have had no rain for months
the dams /reservoirs/ abandoned tin mines (used to store water) are nearly dry.

time for the Indian rain dance

hhm, on 17 Jan 2016, it pissed it down a lot in the afternoon travelling from the airport to Patong & in the evening too, because that was the day I arrived in Phuket this year & I couldn't believe I had arrived in torrential rain :)

Also had rain in Khao Lak 3 times between 25 Jan - 1 Feb 2016.
