Hi all,

As you've probably been aware Peter sold the bar this week and I've taken over as of from today. A bit about myself, I'm Simon from London I'm new to Cambodia but know a few people here already and I'm familiar with the Garage Bar history, I've operated bars and music venues in London before and saw this as a great opportunity. We've reverted the opening hours to be closed in the daytime and will be open 3:30pm - late every day. At present there wont be too many changes still keeping the great burgers, happy hour, ice cold beers and great music that the bar has been associated with over the years. I will post more updates as I settle in with a few special events and of course a more official opening night. Hope to see as many ex-pats and locals popping in for a beer in the coming weeks.

I popped in at Garage Bar the other day. I just wanted to check it out as it is now under the new owner. It actually almost remains the same.

I dropped by a couple of weeks ago with some Australian customers and met Simon and Tom, and the two dogs. We shared some drinks, a good night.

haha sad, i didn't manage to talk to the new owner as i went there with a friend. So i spent the whole time talking to my friend and the workers there. Good that the worker still remembered me. I will pop in next time and make sure that i get the chance to talk to the owner.
