I’m not so sure that’s a home made gun. It looks like a heavy barreled, bolt actioned rifle (possibly a 22 rimfire target rifle). The stock is too well made for home made (it’s damaged, a piece missing from the fore end) it has legit looking sling fittings and a butt pad, also the action has a factory look trigger and trigger guard and is grooved to receive the scope mounts.
