Foreigners Working in Cambodia. You think your job sucks?
Bad day at work? Remember this guy...
Ok, I had to post it, especially funny to hear what he told a Cambodian that asked him, "Why you do this?"
Surely he's able to get help from his embassy instead of role-playing?

I mean, if he's out doing the work and such, I'm willing to bet it's not role playing... just down on his luck pretty bad (likely drug related would be my guess). If it is drugs he probably didn't lose his passport, probably pawned it and can't get it back.
I wonder what a roof, a shower, some clean clothes and some food would do for his prospects of just getting at least a shitty low wage teaching job at some bargain basement English school?

Maybe he just takes LARPing really seriously. Some people are like that with hobbies.General Mackevili wrote:Surely he's able to get help from his embassy instead of role-playing?

I just feel he picked the lowest of the lowest jobs for novelty's sake.
BELTEI would pay more. Yes, even to a German, probably.

They're pictures of me... I used to be an AVID LARPer. Once a month for a whole weekend "in game" at a fairly secluded campground with cabins and a lodge and such.

I'm not sure that being Indian constitutes LARPing, but I'm willing to take a look...OrangeDragon wrote:They're pictures of me... I used to be an AVID LARPer. Once a month for a whole weekend "in game" at a fairly secluded campground with cabins and a lodge and such.

I've seen the occasional farang living in similar desperate conditions in Thailand. Usually a result of mental impairments as much or more than drug or alcohol abuse, from what I could tell in those cases.
Re: Foreigners Working in Cambodia. You think your job sucks
Cambodians are posting dozens of photos and videos of this Barang a'jai all over FB lately, won't be long before the local media starts reporting on the story. My missus said he should go to his embassy, my response was that if he really wanted help then thats what he would do, so obviously he doesn't.
