Fond Farewell

This is where our community discusses almost anything! While we're mainly a Cambodia expat discussion forum and talk about expat life here, we debate about almost everything. Even if you're a tourist passing through Southeast Asia and want to connect with expatriates living and working in Cambodia, this is the first section of our site that you should check out. Our members start their own discussions or post links to other blogs and/or news articles they find interesting and want to chat about. So join in the fun and start new topics, or feel free to comment on anything our community members have already started! We also have some Khmer members here as well, but English is the main language used on CEO. You're welcome to have a look around, and if you decide you want to participate, you can become a part our international expat community by signing up for a free account.

Fond Farewell

Post by Samouth »

Dear Comrades

It has been great year for me being a member on CEO. I managed to learn and share a lot with you guys. I know that some posters like to read my posts and some don't, however it doesn't matter anymore as i will not continue to post anymore. I did had fun on CEO and i like debating. Therefore, there is no better place than CEO to get the debate started. However, i need to call it quit, as i need to focus on my study and work. Hopefully, i can come back soon.

@Richard, you have peace now as no one is going to bother you anymore.

If you know a lot, know enough to make them respect you, if you are stupid, be stupid enough so they can pity you.

I never quite understood why forum posting has to be a dramatic 'all or nothing' declaration. "I am going to be too busy to post" is a bit silly. I don't care how busy people think they are, everyone has a few minutes to kill occasionally and reading a forum and posting a comment takes two minutes. No need for all the "I'm leaving!" stuff. Post when you want or don't post when you don't want. No need to submit a letter of resignation.

I guess people want everyone to beg them to stay and not leave. Blah blah blah

I like the fact that there are Khmer's posting on this forum rather than a bunch of bitchin expats.

Has he done or posted anything to hurt you? Judging by his post count, he has worked hard to keep this forum going in the past. I appreciate his efforts. I just said there is no need to make an offical declaration of leaving an internet forum. Why bother? Just pop in and out as time allows. No big deal.
